Nebraska and South Dakota

So I got to Nebraska and I was able to spend sometime with my good friend/ sister, Kjersta, who I haven't seen in 3 years since she left for home from her LDS mission. It was wonderful being able to see her, I met her husband, daughter, parents and brother. I still find it crazy that she has a family of her own. My friend lives near the border of Nebraska so I didn't see much of Nebraska because when I started driving to South Dakota I went through Iowa.

While I was driving in South Dakota it was at night, I had not yet made it to the Badlands National Park, a deer started to run in the road I swerved to miss him as I swerved I saw his front legs buckle in front of him. This deer was massive, for the next 5 minutes I couldn't believe what had just happened. The next day I finally made it to the Badlands, it is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
If you saw this from the side angle it looked like a moose head.

These next pictures are of Laura Ingalls Wilder's home and property very cool to see.

More of Laura Ingalls in next post.
